About You
We are seeking driven, intellectually curious, and creative team members for an exciting role in the field of health care consulting. Whether you are a fresh graduate looking to start your career as a Junior Data Scientist or you have experience and are ready to take on a Data Scientist role, this is a unique opportunity to be a key contributor. In this role, you will have the chance to publish your work in scientific journals and present at scientific meetings.
Essential Functions
– Develop, validate, and execute algorithms and mathematical/simulation models for health technology assessment.
– Design mathematical/computational models to assess the clinical and/or cost-effectiveness of new medical interventions (e.g., treatments, vaccines, diagnostics).
– Contribute to the development of project deliverables such as models, reports, manuscripts, and abstracts/presentations for scientific conferences.
Required Qualifications
– A Bachelor’s degree in a quantitatively oriented field such as industrial engineering, operations research, applied mathematics, computer science, statistics, or health economics.
– A Master’s degree or equivalent experience is preferred for the Data Scientist role.
– A PhD degree or equivalent experience is preferred for the Sr. Data Scientist role.
– Good programming skills in at least one of the following languages: Python, R, C++/C#, Java. JavaScript is a plus.
– Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
Preferred Qualifications
– Background or experience in mathematical/computational modeling approaches (e.g., microsimulation models, agent-based models, compartmental models, statistical and machine learning models, econometric analysis) applied to healthcare.
– Knowledge of statistical software packages.
– Proven ability to write and publish for a medical or scientific audience.

– Curious and open to learning.
